Your tasks
You will work in a data analytics team (DevOps) together with data scientists and backend developers to enable procurement with data analytics solutions
- Designing and implementing fully industrialized dashboards and reports to support the (int.) solution lines, countries and regional companies
- Developing dashboards from the ground up, including the recording of stakeholder requirements, the development of drafts/prototypes in independent coordination with business stakeholders as well as the presentation of milestones/final results
- Optimizing report and model measures according to best practices
- Collaborating closely with data engineers in the form of joint conceptualizations and refinements of user stories to optimize/expand our data models
- Defining core metrics together with business stakeholders and implementing them in Power BI reports and cubes/datasets
- Ensuring the continuous operation of our dashboard/reports by handling user tickets and supporting in report access management
- Choosing and developing the right technology based on given framework and requirements
- Performing ad-hoc evaluations for strategic issues as needed
- Proactively identifying problems and implementing appropriate solutions
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of work experience better 5 in the areas of business intelligence or data analytics, ideally in the retail industry
- Bachelor or Masters in business-informatics/ statistics/ business-intelligence/ data-analytics or professional work record
- Strong skills in developing responsive reports and dashboards, able to analyze and model complex data sets
- Advanced programming skills in Power BI Suite, DAX, Excel, plus experience in Python, SQL or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2) and good at working with direct stakeholder input
- Familiarity with the Azure environment (incl. Databricks) is a plus
